The big day started off by getting up early to wash the Boxster. I wanted to make sure it was absolutely spotless for my bride to be. It was a beautiful sunny day in San Diego and so the top came down on the Boxster. Here are pictures with my brother Mario and my cousin Alex at his home. Just a little fast forward, after the wedding ceremony Nora and I took off in the car. About half a dozen cars followed us honking all the way to my parent's place. We stopped for a brief lunch gathering before going to the evening reception.
The wedding ceremony was at St. Pius X in Chula Vista. Father Joe did an excellent job, everybody was telling us how much they enjoyed the ceremony. He shared a few stories about us to everybody during the ceremony. The reception was held at Real del Mar Resort in Tijuana, Mexico. We used golf carts to roam around the resort to take our pictures. Afterwards we came back to take the family pictures.
The reception had a wonderful view of the golf course and beach. Here are some pictures of the reception. The food and service was more than we expected. We danced, threw the bouquet, I search for Nora's garter, threw the garter, cut the cake, and even got thrown up in the air and along with a wedgie attempt by my friends and cousins. It was a memorial day for us. Thanks to all who were able to make it.
